On a beautiful summer day, June 17, 2023, Caleb invited Hannah out for a casual lake date. What was meant to be a quick paddle boating adventure quickly turned into a full afternoon of sunshine, yogurt, and laughter—setting the stage for a connection that would last a lifetime. Caleb couldn’t help but fall for Hannah’s warm smile in those first few moments together.

Though they had known each other in high school—Caleb a year ahead of Hannah—their interactions had been brief and casual. Caleb often saw her shooting hoops in the gym after school, but they never went beyond friendly greetings. Time passed, they went their separate ways to college, and their paths didn’t cross again. But when Hannah agreed to meet up again in 2023, it felt like something more was about to unfold.

Then, on October 27, 2024, Caleb took another step forward in their journey together. On the final hole of a golf course, he bent down to pick up his ball from the cup—but instead of just finishing the game, he knelt on one knee and asked Hannah to be his wife. Overwhelmed with joy, they both looked ahead to a future full of love and happiness, knowing this was only the beginning of their beautiful story.

It’s such a strange yet comforting feeling to reflect on who

Hannah was in high school and see the incredible woman God has shaped her into today. Every morning, I wake up with a genuine smile, knowing I get to call the most beautiful person on earth mine. She’s the brightest light I know, and I can’t wait to be a part of her life starting in May!

It's funny how life works sometimes. Caleb and I barely knew each other in high school; our paths never crossed more than a casual hello in the halls or after practice. I always remembered Caleb's smile and how kind he was to everyone around him.

As we went about our lives, little did we know that God had bigger plans for us. Looking back now, it is incredible to see how everything has fallen into place. As we are about to step into this next chapter of life together, I cannot help but feel extremely excited and blessed! Caleb is an absolute joy - his loving spirit is contagious. I'm so excited to start our life together in May!
